Is the tunic top to go with the BWOF pants I just finished. I'm using pattern #140 from the April, 2008 issue. The pattern is traced and cut out, the fabric is pre-washed and pressed so I'll be ready to pin and cut out tomorrow.
I also pre-washed the practice fabric for the Maggy London dress for my daughter. I think I'm going to start with a size 6 and cut extra wide seam allowances just in case. Anyway, I'll be tracing that pattern as well, just in case I need to go up a size for the real deal. Here's the practice fabric she chose. It's so cute, I hope I can make the dress work. Maybe with some red piping.

Cute fabric.
I promise one of these days I will actually post a photo of me wearing something I've made. It will not be a pretty site, but I will do it just for you. ;)
I love the "fruity" fabric and I can't wait to see the dress. Red piping will sure look nice.
Cute, fun fabric! Is it a knit or woven? It should be darling, whichever.
It's a woven. I'll sew with knits, but I don't like it very much.
